About This Project
Community projects and consultation events
Engaging with, listening to and responding to collective local opinion is critical to the Green9 holistic design approach. Whilst this process is inevitably time consuming and complex, we believe it is vital if the true potential of a development is to be realized.
Reaching a viable shared vision for a project offers numerous opportunities for participation, (in the design and construction), educational and training opportunities.
Such an approach also leads to a local sense of belonging, achievement and pride and is more likely to create a long lasting sustainable environment, lovingly managed and maintained by the people that helped to create it. Creating the framework, which allows this to happen, is an important objective in the Green9 work.
